Mission Statement

The mission of the Madison Township Police Department is to affirmatively promote a feeling of safety and security to the members of our community. We do this by providing high quality police services to the protection of life and property; by taking steps to prevent criminal activity; by detecting and investigating criminal activity; by the apprehension of offenders and the enforcement of criminal laws; by recovering property; by providing leadership in community involvement and awareness programs; by keeping and maintaining records; by training of personnel; and by maintaining high ethical standards.


Public Auction

Pursuant to O.R.C. 505.10, the Madison Township Police and Fire Departments have in their possession items that have been designated as surplus and are set to be auctioned to the public at Absolute Auction by Mike Brandly, Auctioneer, located at 4949 Hendron Rd. Groveport, Ohio 43125 on Wednesday, August 29, 2018. Auction is from 5:30 p.m. until the last item is sold.  TERMS:  Payment in full is required the evening of the auction.  Payment can be made by Cash, Credit Cards or Debit Cards (MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express)

Police items are:

Office Equipment: Brother Type Writer, Electronic Pencil Sharpener, Black Metal Card Holder Box and other miscellaneous items.

Electronics: Compaq Presario with Cords, 500,000w Lectro Science Cordless Lights, EM 200 Push to talk Ear Headset, and other miscellaneous items.

Tools & Equipment: Grey Tool Box, Metal Cabinet, Desantis-Mace Containers Duty Belt, Holsters, Web Gear and other miscellaneous items.

MISC: Coveralls, Canteens, Book bags, Foot Lift and other items.

Fire items are:

Office Equipment: Brother fax machine, 3 computers, Acer monitor, desk, 2 - 5 drawer file cabinets.

Kitchen: Stove, LG refrigerator, Manitowic ice maker. 

Tools & Equipment: Nobles floor cleaner, Tuco hose tester, 2 foam pumps, hose tester, Excalibur hedge trimmer, Poulan weed eater, rice hydro, Wingo generator, Lestronic battery charger, 3 portable yellow light housings.
