KNOX BOX
Fire departments across the country use the Knox System to prevent costly forced entry damage while protecting property and lives. Knox key boxes hold building entrance keys, electronic access cards, and vital emergency information.
As the property owner, you purchase a Knox-Box device then mount it near your building entrance (preferably at the left side of the entrance) or property gate according to fire department guidelines. Firefighters use a unique high-security Knox Master Key to open the Knox-Box device in their jurisdiction.
The most popular Knox-Box product and the one recommended by Madison Township Fire Department is the heavy-duty, high-security 3200 Series key box that stores keys, access cards, and small items.
Note: It is recommended for new concrete or masonry construction, that you purchase a recessed Knox-Box with Recessed Mounting Kit (RMK). Holds up to 10 keys.

Medical Bracelets
The Madison Township Fire Department and Madison Township Firefighters IAFF Local 2507 are proud to co-sponsor a project to make available medical information bracelets to interested members of the community. It’s a small USB memory stick incorporated into a bracelet. The software on the device is a simple fill in the blank type of database that when completed the information is stored and displayed as a basic website page which allows any computer with a web browser (Chrome, Internet Explorer, FireFox) to view the information. Bracelets are available at all of our firehouses for $20.00 each. For more information call (614) 837-7883.

Reflective Address Signs
911 Address Signs have been designed to meet the specifications set by the majority of townships and municipalities across the country. These specifications require the use of a 6 x 18" or larger reflective sign to display your address number so that emergency personnel can quickly locate your house during an emergency situation. These signs are available for purchase at all three of our stations for the cost of $7.00.
